Connect your domain
Connect your domain with Porkbun
Your domain is managed in Porkbun. Log in, open your domain's DNS editor, add the record Droply shows you, and save.
The record you are adding
Droply shows your exact record on the Domains page of your dashboard. It looks like this (copy your own values from there):
Type
CNAME
Name / Host
your subdomain
or
or
@ for the root
Value / Target
customers.droply.id

Open Porkbun
Opens in a new tab. Keep this guide open beside it.
Good to know
- Host field = label only. If Droply shows
blog.yourdomain.com, enter justblog. Porkbun adds your domain. - For the root domain (your bare domain), leave the Host field empty. Do not type
@or your domain name there. - Porkbun does not allow a
CNAMEon the root domain. If Droply asks you to point the bare domain, use thewwwlabel, or Porkbun's ALIAS record type for the root. - A
CNAMEhost must be unique - remove any other record (like an A record) on the exact same Host first. - Paste the value with no extra spaces and no trailing dot, then double-check it before clicking Add.
- DNS changes can take a few minutes to a few hours to take effect.
After you save
That is the only step on your side. DNS changes take a few minutes to spread across the internet (sometimes up to an hour). You do not need to do anything else: Droply checks automatically and turns your domain live the moment it is ready, with HTTPS set up and renewed for you forever. Grab a coffee and come back in a bit.
